Hi all! We've been in the mid-eighties to the nineties these past few days, so I'd say summer has officially started. I actually don't get excited by summer wear - give me five layers of clothes for fall or winter, please - but with pieces like these I might just start to!

Thanks for stopping by! Have a good one, friends.

Jacket: Levi's / Top: Zara (old, similar, similar) / Jeans: Madewell /
Shoes: Topshop (similar, love these) / Necklace: Madewell (similar) / Bag: 3.1 Phillip Lim

From the streets of Paris to the streets of Cleveland. From the River Seine to Lake Erie. From the grounds of Versailles to the stomping grounds of the Cavs. Oh, you get it. Yes, my city may not be as glamorous as the ones in France, but it's mine and I love it all the same. Plus the food is just as good. Seriously. We took these photos before heading to Town Hall, which is just down the street from Mitchell's Ice Cream, which is just around the corner from Great Lakes Brewery and basically: Ohio City has good eats.

I got these Topshop flats from Poshmark for like 15 bucks which you would think would want to make me wear them every single day, but I'm actually having a hard time figuring out how to wear them. I decided for this look to stay within the same color family of oranges and taupes but I'm really gonna have to abandon my need to be matchy one of these days... Any advice?

Coat: Zara / Blazer: TopshopTop: J.Crew (old, similar, similar) / Pants: Topshop /
Heels: Madewell / Earrings: Kate Spade (similar) / Pin: Chanel (similar) / Sunglasses: Karen Walker

Slightly long post here, because how could I not have an outright photoshoot at Versailles? I've wanted to visit Versailles for some time (even though ya know, I'm totally #antiestablishment #proletariat) and finally got the chance at the end of our cruise trip. I think my favorite part of the palace was the gardens - I mean, I'd be okay with living in the palace too, but like just hire me as a groundskeeper and I'm good.

I know I've worn this pink coat for the umpteenth time, but it really is the perfect light jacket. Plus I love pink and green together. And I've worn this blazer a million times too but if you couldn't tell by my hair whipping around and my embarrassingly flushed cheeks, it was cold. I might reconsider that whole groundskeeper job after all... Anyway, this concludes my posts from my trip! Thanks for following along!

Comme des Garรงons Shirt: ebay (orig. $165, paid $35) /
Oliver Peoples "Gregory Peck" Glasses: ebay (orig. $340, paid $220) /
Givenchy Tassel Clutch/Crossbody: Poshmark (orig. somewhere between $250-$950, paid $50)
Rag & Bone "Harrow" Boots: Poshmark (orig. $495, paid $110)
Chanel barette: free with gift

Guys, my dream of becoming a deal finder (idk sounds better than bargain hunter) of high-end goods is finally becoming realized! Okay so I probably could have achieved it sooner, but I was super lazy. I felt limited to my local thrift stores, or the occasional trip to New York,in order to find quality pieces at a deal. Then I found Poshmark. It suddenly became so easy to look up my favorite brands, negotiate the price, and have it mailed to my doorstep. But I've been reading some other fashion blogs who use Poshmark and let me tell you, these gals have found some killer deals. Like Christian Louboutin at under $100 deals. So I knew I had to step up my game.

I'd been eyeing those Oliver Peoples glasses (pun totally intended) for a while and I'm not even gonna pretend that it's not because they're the ones Zooey Deschanel wears on New Girl (I'm still working on realizing that dream...). I had to use ebay since they've been discontinued, and I've always been wary of ebay. I made a few bids, lost, tried again, and was delighted when this pair arrived, still in its original packaging. The rag & bone booties were the only other item that I was "searching for" but even at the discounted prices on Poshmark it was too much for me. Then, after some deep deep digging, I found this pair marked at $150. I already had $60 worth of credits in my Poshmark account from selling my clothes, and I haggled the price down a bit, so I only ended up paying $60 out of pocket! Unfortunately I didn't do enough research to know that rag & bone sizes run small, so these babies are a bit tight on me, but like whatever right? Then the CDG shirt and the Givenchy clutch were total surprises. I just happened to be browsing and there they were, both $50 or less and calling my name. So did I find some great stuff? I think so. Did I still spend more money that I probably should have? Oh yeah. Am I now addicted to high-end thrifting? Uh....

What are some fab finds you've had lately?

Coat: ZaraBlouse: Topshop in Paris (similar) / Jeans: Topshop /
Boots: BeauCOOPBackpack: Loeffler Randall / Earrings: Ted Baker

Giverny. Even the name of the town is lilting and lovely. This was my second visit to Monet's home and I was so happy to be back. I really think it's one of the most serene places I've ever been. It's soft and it beckons you in - just like a Monet painting. And I think I'll leave it at that. Let the photos (pale imitations of the real thing!) speak for themselves.

Thanks for visiting and have a happy Friday, friends.
