Turtleneck: Nordstrom Rack (similar, similar, similar) / Jeans: Topshop "Leigh"
Boots: H&M / Shades: Karen Walker

I was listening to my autumn playlist and attempting to do some studying on our roadtrip to New York when my dad pulled onto a street called "Stoney Lonesome Road" (lol). Which is where our family farm has sat since 1882!

I'd visited a couple times before, but hadn't been back in a while so it was a nice way to break up the long car ride to New York. The weather was perfect and Shannon was only too happy to roll around in the fields and chase all the birds and cats (sadly the only current animals on the farm - the dairy cows are long gone but ya know if it were my farm I'd stuff it full of horses and sheep. If only). I do love the classic red barn and this one is even more special because it's hand-painted with scenes of my uncle and the farm life.

I unintentionally wore a nice red plaid to match the farm - this was a turtleneck I'd had my eye on but then snagged it for eight bucks at Nordstrom Rack. Eight bucks! How I wish I could find such great deals when I do my Christmas shopping...

Anyway, hope you all have a great start to your weekend!
